We are happy to be part of Open House Tel Aviv 2022 and host two scheduled tours in our almost completed Harugei Malchut apartment building. The tours will be together with Matan Sapir, Partner at HQ Architects and one of the designers of the building, which is part of a project executed under the Tama 38 national urban renewal initiative.The project is for client Tnufa Bair, and entails converting a building with 8 housing units into one that has 21 apartments of different types and sizes. During the tours, the architect will talk about the conceptual design decision that was made when planning the project – namely, not to adhere to the material and spatial qualities of typical Israeli residential buildings, and how that decision manifests itself in the building: a design that surrounds an inner courtyard, an abundance of green spaces, and use of rich materialism, such as walls that are covered with terracotta tiles.
The building will be completed and open by the end of 2022
