HQ Architects wins first place at public tender to lead the design of several new Transportation Centers in Tel Aviv.
A design consortium led by HQ Architects, alongside Dan Ben Amram and Mazor First Architects & Planners from Tel Aviv, together with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), and our valuable external collaborators ARUP (New York) and Ran Wolf Urban Planners (Israel), has won first place – among 3 winning bidders in total, to lead the program design for seven transportation centers, including metro and light railway, together with the urban development of the above and surrounding areas. The win has been made public by the tenderer, NTA –Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd., the agency responsible for the design and construction of mass transit systems in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.
The HQ Architects – led winning team, will provide high quality design for effective and efficient transport solutions that will enhance connectivity, user experience and create innovative urban environments in the wider Tel Aviv area. The team brings together wide international expertise and experience in infrastructure, transit, urban and public design, as well as extensive local knowledge and experience.
