Balsam holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Town Planning (2020) and an M.Arch. degree specialized in Urban Design (2023), both from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology Haifa, Israel.
Balsam joined HQ Architects in 2023 2 and has been involved in various master-planning projects in the studio, including urban renewal schemes in A'rara town center and Kiryat Shmona.
Currently, she is a Research Assistant at The Technion Research & Development Foundation, Architecture and Town Planning faculty, where she is working on creating a generative digital platform to preserve spatial narratives of the city of Haifa.
Balsam is fluent in Arabic, Hebrew and English.
