An elongated plot becomes a layered landscape — open, porous, and always facing the sea.
Set along the beachfront of Vlore, Bojo Resort is conceived as a contemporary Mediterranean village — a porous, lively destination where hospitality, housing, and leisure merge. The elongated seaside plot, framed by existing buildings, becomes a layered landscape of smaller architectural forms and interspersed open spaces. These breaks in the built fabric invite air, light, and movement, allowing the complex to breathe like a coastal town rather than a single monolithic block. The resort’s calibrated height ensures uninterrupted sea views while reinforcing the dialogue between city, promenade, and water. Toward the beachfront, the ground gently steps down, forming a topography of plazas, terraces, and shaded passages that blur the boundary between built and natural. Restaurants, cafés, and retail at the base activate the resort by day, while illuminated courtyards and rooftop venues ensure it remains vibrant deep into the night. By weaving together apartments, hotel suites, cultural and recreational programs, the design fosters an ecosystem that accommodates both short-term visitors and long-term residents. Bojo Resort thus becomes more than a holiday destination: it is a dynamic urban fragment of Vlore’s evolving Riviera — simultaneously connected to the city and unique in its own spatial identity.
